Dental implants are the most realistic way to restore your smile. You can get a dental implant for one or multiple missing teeth.

Single Tooth Implant
A single tooth implant replaces one tooth that may need to be taken out, is loose, or has come out on its own. The implant serves as the new root for the artificial tooth. The implant is made of titanium alloy or ceramic and is surgically implanted into the jaw.
An abutment keeps the gum tissue from growing over the implant, and a dental crown is affixed to the abutment.
Multiple Teeth Implants
Multiple teeth implants secure bridges of teeth. Two implants can support up to six teeth. Many people choose dental implants over dentures, because they function and feel just like natural teeth.
In these procedures, the dental implants are secured to the jawbone in targeted places in the top or bottom jaw, and the dental bridge is affixed to these new roots.
Bone Grafting
If teeth are missing for a year or more, or if you have low bone density, you may need a bone graft to establish a solid base for your implant. An animal or cadaver bone is used in the bone graft.
This procedure requires additional healing time before the implant can be surgically placed.
