How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign® aligners are made from 3D scans of your mouth, along with the treatment plan your dentist will draw for you from these scans. Apolline Dental has invested heavily in a state of the art 3D scanner which means there is no need for the old style dental impressions. Not only will the scans provide information for the production of your aligners, but they will also project the final product of what your smile will look like once your treatment is complete.
How long do Invisalign treatments take?
Depending on the severity of your misalignment, your treatment process may take between 6-24 months. You will receive a set number of aligners which you will wear 20-22 hours per day for 2 weeks. Each aligner will gently move your teeth into their proper position. Ideally, you should only take your aligners out to eat and brush your teeth.
